After being featured on an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, the Food Network selects Silver Star Cafe's Vegetarian Wild Mushroom Stroganoff as one of the top 18 vegetarian dishes in the United States! See the feature here.

We are so honored to be featured in this fabulous Park City cookbook, along with several of our fellow Park City restaurants! Many thanks to publisher Lauren Nadler for inviting us to participate! If you're an adventurous cook, look for five of our recipes in these slick pages, for you to try at home. They include our Clams and Corn appetizer from our summer menu; our Crab and Melon Salad with Burrata and Basil-Cocoa Nib Pesto; our signature Pork Osso Bucco with Coconut Creamed Corn and Fresh Tomatillo Salsa; and our "Root Beer"- Cured Lamb Rack.
We have launched our own Silver Star Cafe private label wines!
At a private event December 8, we debuted our own private label wines for Silver Star Cafe! We have developed a 2014 Dry Riesling for our white wine, and a 2005 Tempranillo for our red-- both excellent food wines with a beautiful balance of fruit, oak and acidity. We are working with Utah's own IG Winery in Cedar City, with grapes from the Rogue Valley in Oregon, and from Paso Robles, California. Vinted, cellared and bottled in Utah, this is truly a homegrown Utah project. We worked with the incredible Salt Lake City artist Stacy Phillips (www.stacyphillipsart.com), who created two gorgeous original paintings for our labels. The paintings were photographed by Salt Lake City photographer Austen Diamond (www.austendiamond.com). The labels were then designed by Park City graphic artist Dave Napiwocki. A portion of the sales from each bottle sold will benefit Arts Kids (www.arts-kids.org), a Park City nonprofit organization whose after-school program develops life skills via artistic expression, for Summit County children and youth facing adversity. We are proud to support the work they do, and hope to be able to sponsor many young people participating in their programs.
