The four legs of our table.
About Us
Jeff and Lisa Ward are longtime Park City locals with full careers in restaurant operations (Jeff), and communications and community development (Lisa), who brought our interests together to start the Silver Star Cafe in the spring of 2010. We work together to offer a community gathering place where locals and guests are equally welcome, focusing on great food, ambiance, service and acoustic music-- what we call "The four legs of our table." Together with our family of staff professionals, we are proud to share this very special place with our guests-- a place that feels like home, where you are treated as welcome friends.
Heralded as a "Hidden Gem in Park City" and "Park City's Best-Kept Dining Secret" by USA Today; as "A locals' secret," "Best lunch and dinner in Park City" by Forbes; and featured on the Food Network, Silver Star Cafe is an intimate, upscale rustic cafe with award-winning Roots Cuisine-- a contemporary, from-scratch, diverse expression of regional foods and flavors of the American Melting Pot. We have a cozy dining room with only 50 seats, and in warmer months, additional dining on a wrap-around outdoor patio and plaza. Lunch is offered Monday through Friday, brunch Saturday and Sunday, and dinner nightly.
Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Cafe offers an intimate, live music dinner show featuring all-acoustic folk, jazz, blues, Americana and bluegrass, with talented singer-songwriters and musicians from the local region as well as national touring artists, performing for guests of Silver Star Cafe who are dining with us that evening.
We are located directly behind and overlooking the Park City Golf Club, at the base of the Silver Star ski chair at Park City Mountain Resort, and at the trailheads of the Spiro and Armstrong mountain biking and hiking trails. We have 360-degree mountain, town and golf course views.
The Café features full offerings of wine, beer and craft cocktails. The food and service are fine-dining, yet warmly welcoming. Come as you are, whether it’s straight from the ski hill or hiking trail, or out for a special celebration.
Guests and locals alike call Silver Star Café a “hidden gem,” and although there is nothing diner-like about the place, the Food Network chose to feature our tucked-away little spot on “Diner’s, Drive-ins and Dives.”
We are a tiny place, and we fill up fast! Reservations are not accepted for lunch or brunch, but are highly recommended for dinner. Be sure to call ahead for dinner reservations.
We look forward to having you join us!
